Fish Tadka - A Hidden Gem in Agumbe

Image
After driving up the winding roads that lead to Agumbe, you are greeted by lush green forests, glistening waterfalls, and mist-covered mountains. The scenery is so breathtaking that it feels like nature itself is welcoming you with open arms. However we had very low expectations of finding any good restaurants there, as the town was very small and had very less tourists during our time of visit. Despite being a tiny town, it has one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever visited — Fish Tadka. This restaurant is a hidden gem that surprised me beyond words with its incredible range of fish options. As soon as I entered the restaurant, the aroma of freshly cooked fish wafted through the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. The menu had a long list of fish options, from the classic fish fry to the famous ghee roast prawns. As a seafood lover, I was in heaven. The first dish I tried was the ghee roast prawns, and let me tell you, they were out of this world. The prawns were cooked to pe...

My Disappointing Experience with Calicut's Chinese Factory's 399 Combo

Image
"Read about my frustrating experience with Calicut's Chinese Factory's 399 Combo, including cold starters, salty chilly chicken, and just passable soup and fried momos. Discover if the restaurant's ambience made up for the disappointing food."   To start, the restaurant's ambiance was quite impressive. The décor was modern and trendy, with colorful lighting and comfortable seating arrangements. However, the ambiance alone couldn't make up for the subpar food quality. I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, given its 399 Combo that offered unlimited quantities of 2 juices, 2 chicken starters, fried momos, soup, and main course of fried rice and chilly chicken. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying, and I left the restaurant feeling frustrated and disappointed. The platter 👉 How we got ☝ and how we left ☝ The chicken starters served were cold and lacked ...
